What is NSWI?

Nellie Supports Website intelligence

NSWI stands for Nellie Supports Website Intelligence. It is the structured research backend that sits behind the Nellie Supports website build. It is not a set of website pages. It is the library of decisions, evidence and rules that any writer, designer or developer needs before a page is written, so the finished website is accurate, consistent and defensible rather than a set of disconnected pages.

Why it exists

A website this complex, covering mental capacity assessments, NHS Continuing Healthcare, social care, case management and expert reports, cannot be built well from memory or from a single brief. Decisions about pricing, legal boundaries, tone of voice, page ownership and technical structure all need to be made once, recorded once, and then applied consistently across every page. NSWI is where those decisions live.

What it contains

NSWI is organised into fifteen knowledge layers, covering company facts, service line detail, legal and professional authority, buyer psychology, commercial and pricing rules, SEO architecture, competitor intelligence, editorial rules, design principles, conversion strategy, technical schema, evidence and proof assets, content architecture, analytics and AI search visibility. Each layer holds one or more research documents. The Company Truth Master File is the single source of truth for facts about Nellie Supports; where any other document conflicts with it, the master file wins.

How it is structured

NSWI follows a two part pattern. A Documents collection holds the actual research documents, one per item, each tagged to the knowledge layer or layers it supports. A Directory collection holds one entry per knowledge layer, acting as an in-page index: a heading, a short description, and a list of links to every document that belongs under that heading. This is the same pattern used by the TCAF Framework research site, so the structure will feel familiar to anyone who has used that hub.

How it relates to the other research brains

NSWI is one of four connected research brains. Little Nellies Research Brain holds the research for the Little Nellies SEND and EHCP division. ParentAssess Research Hub holds the research for the parenting assessment service, currently in development. TCAF Framework holds the research for the Therapeutic Capacity Assessment Framework and its training programme, also in development. NSWI is the research brain for the main Nellie Supports website, and its Company Truth Master File is treated as the group wide source of truth that the other three brains defer to on shared facts.

Who uses it

NSWI is a working tool, not a finished document. Anyone writing, designing or building a page for the Nellie Supports website should check NSWI first: for facts, for wording rules, for page ownership, and for the boundaries that keep the site accurate and compliant. It is expected to grow and be corrected over time as the practice changes and as new pages are built.
